YES I AM FINALLY HERE!!
So the plane trip took a total of 12 hours. Blergh.
Then we spent the night at a hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. We had dinner at a restaurant with very salty soup, probably from the Salt Lake.
And then we had a 5 hour drive to Yellowstone. Ick. Now I am in this Yellowstone hotel place in this town made specially for Yellowstone tourists.
When we went to the actual park, we saw a bunch of animals like deer, bison, elk, meese, bears, wolves, and mosquitos. Darn mosquitos. I have a big itchy bite on my leg.
We went to McDonald's several times (because it is our old faithful- always there when we need food) and I got a very bland looking Tai Lung thingy (Kung Fu Panda) because none of the other kids I was with wanted it. I took a sharpie marker and colored in every single spot because I'm that skilled.
We saw a ton of geysers and hot springs, including Old Faithful, whichwas quite faithful to its predicted times. The hot springs were amazing! They were colorful and bubbly and steamy and smelled like rotten eggs, though I, strangely, liked the smell.
And I got a stuffed buffalo plushie that I named Gibson (AKA Al Gore).
